The ECOWAS Youth and Sports Development Centre (EYSDC) has officially launched the ECOWAS Youth and Women Entrepreneurship Programme (EYWEP), an initiative designed to strengthen entrepreneurial capacities and promote innovation, job creation and the economic empowerment of young people and women across ECOWAS Member States. Implemented in partnership with the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) and AECID, the programme provides young and women entrepreneurs with opportunities for capacity building, mentoring, networking and market access. Through this initiative, ECOWAS aims to foster sustainable entrepreneurship, stimulate inclusive economic growth, and advance regional integration and socio-economic development throughout West Africa.
